The Millay Club is proud to announce that this year’s guest speaker is Jay Wright, Villanova University Men’s Basketball Head Coach. Jay is a two-time winner of the Naismith National Coach of the Year award and a five time winner of the Big East Coach of the Year award. During the past four years, Jay led the Villanova Wildcats to four consecutive Big East regular season championships, two Big East Tournament titles in 2015 and 2017, and the 2016 NCAA National Championship.
The Mass will be concelebrated by Rt. Rev. Richard J. Antonucci, O.Praem, Abbot & Director of Spirituality Center, Daylesford Abbey and Rev. James E. Dalton, OSFS, School Minister, Ss. John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School.
This year two distinguished alumni will be honored. The Abbot Pennings Award will be posthumously given to John McKenna, Class of ’52. The Alumnus of the Year will be presented to John Bucci, Class of ’84. In addition, Bruce Robinson, the former President of Ss. John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School will be made an Honorary Member of The Millay Club.
During the Annual Meeting, the alumni will be asked to ratify the revised bylaws of The Millay Club. The Millay Club bylaws can be viewed prior to the meeting on the Bylaws page of this website.
The Mass, Breakfast, and Annual Meeting will be held at Penn’s Landing Caterers located at 1301 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd. in South Philadelphia. The cost is $30.00 per person or $300.00 for a table of 10. To order tickets, please send a check made payable to “The Millay Club” to The Millay Club, PO Box 20121, Philadelphia PA 19145. Include your name, address, phone number, and email address, if available. For credit card orders or to reserve a table of 10, please call the alumni office at 215-389-0925. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets must be ordered by November 21, 2017.

The rain gardens were blessed by Rev. James Dalton. Also in attendance was Jennifer Cooper, Assistant Principal of Operations and Student Affairs.
